The Clean Lakes Festival is a celebration with a cause. The festival offers a full day, jam-packed with activities in and on the shore of Lake Monona, all for the purpose of raising money to improve the quality of the lakes in Dane County. There are activities for all ages including, but not limited to: kayak and canoe rides, a sailing regatta, a log rolling challenge, a Tour de Terrace Group Paddle, children’s activities, wind surfing lessons, free Betty Lou cruises, a rowing exhibition, a 2-mile Liquid Courage Challenge, a slalom tournament, a barefoot skiing challenge, live music and food and drinks.
Check out the details for each activity by clicking on the links in the menu. Then, come on down to Olin Park on Saturday, August 27 to do your part to support one of our area’s greatest assets.
